I have it wired up via ethernet to my college network, and it says it is connected to the wired network, yet I have not internet and cannot ping anything. However, I was running out of patience when I couldn’t get networking started and ran genkernel thinking it would solve my problems. August 16th, 9. The new kernel installed 8 May hasn’t fixed the problem for me. I guess I’m off to research quite a bit more on the web in hopes of finding the culprit. I’m out of ideas, not sure what else to check for.
