Every so often,maybe every two days or so, the PC refuses to recognise the headset. The CSUSB is now on the low end of our recommendation list because it uses dated MHz non-interference free frequency and the built-in USB soundcard is a little bit gritty on the low-end of the vocal spectrum.

Hi, is there any Plantronics software installed expect the hook windowz thing? In reply to Debleena S’s post on October 9, I uninstalled this package before installing the drivers mentioned above. On a different W7 system and it produces the same problems.
The bottom line is always simply unplug a non-functional USB device and plug it back in.
I can’t access that Partner Newsletter. The discussion forums at Swyx Forum are dedicated to the discussion of SwyxWare and related topics. A couple of weeks ago he switched to Windows 7 and for some reason the buttons on the headset don’t work.
