ASPEED AST2400 DRIVER

They found the “modesetting” drm driver loaded and the xorg-server running will cause segmentation asleed which is logged in Xorg. No upgrade log present probably fresh install dmi.

Thu Sep 8 Apparently the AST driver is hardcoded to look for it’s firmware. This seems to fix the slow graphics issue on the desktop, but does not help with the slow rendering on the login screen.
