Thursday, November 5, 7: Can you possible post your working file here so I can figure out what my problem is. Have you tried going back to the 32 bit drivers after making the alterations? I had a driver that worked in Windows 7×64 and I am now using it in Windows 10 x64, after finding out how to turn-off the Install Warning, because unlike earlier versions, Windows 10 is not a simple click of ignore. Another big “thank you” to MartinBravo. Thanks for responding to my post.

Thursday, November 05, I have tried your fix aic78xx and aic78u2 bit to no avail. Not only did I have to uninstall the driver and start over, I had to remove the driver from the DriverStore folder using pnputil per the instructions at the following link: Why have the people in the know not just simply created the driver and the uploaded it, so that it became easily available to everyone who requires it.

Install this driver software anyway. Perhaps that could be of help as well. I will try in Legacy mode to see if that makes any difference. Proposed as bit by svanschalkwyk Wednesday, December 25, Tuesday, October 13, 9: Windows 10 requires a reboot. This happened even when I tried to install the driver using the Add Legacy Hardware option.

Did you edit the file and change it to reflect your own model number like I outlined in the article?
